Dixie National Rodeo Crowns Champions on a Southern Saturday Night

The Dixie National Rodeo is the largest livestock show and rodeo their side of the Mississippi. After nine days of their so called, “greatest show on dirt,” the 2024 rodeo is in the books.

Here Are Your 2024 Winners

  • For Louisiana Tie-Down roper and 2x NFR qualifier, Randall Carlisle, the Dixie is a short two-hour drive from home. In rodeo terms, that’s a fairly quick trip – and it paid off. Carlisle out-roped second place by one-hundredth of a second, tying two head in 15.6 seconds.

  • 5x NFR Barrel Racing qualifier Emily Beisel won out over equally as big names like 4x World Champion and 7x NFR qualifier Hailey Kinsel, 2x NFR qualifier Sissy Winn, 8x NFR qualifier Stevi Hillman and 2024 season leader Sara Winkelman. Beisel won with a 13.45 second run, a new arena record.

  • And in the Bull Riding, Texas bull rider Brody Yeary covered Harper & Morgan Rodeo Co’s, Rondo for a massive 90 points. Yeary’s win helped bump him to 5 th in the 2024 Ram World Standings. Yeary has not qualified for an NFR in his 10 year career with the PRCA. If he keeps riding like that, we may just catch him at the Thomas and Mack this December!

Check back next week and each week thereafter for all the highlights on your favorite contestants as they work their way down the 2024 rodeo road!
