Rodeo Recap: March 25 – March 31: We’re Halfway Through the Regular Season!

This week’s Rodeo Recap is dedicated to legendary bucking horse, Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s, Big Tex. The gelding was a 17x NFR bronc horse and the 2010 PRCA Bareback Horse of the Year.

Former Operations Manager for Pete Carr Pro Rodeo, Travis Adams said of Big Tex, “he may be one of the greatest bucking horses ever. He was the coolest horse [and] a giant teddy bear.” Big Tex passed away peacefully on the Pete Carr Pro Rodeo Ranch in Texas at the age of 24. Rest easy Big Tex, thanks for the ride.
